The Smasher is the latest development in the field of the processing of electronic equipment and scrap. The Smasher processes entire appliances such as computers and server casings into larger waste streams in an exceptionally efficient way. The Smasher breaks down the electronics waste in chunky pieces. In this way, hazardous waste, such as batteries and capacitors, can be easily separated in their entirety from the material to be recycled. After this, the various components – having been stripped of iron – are manually checked and sorted to be processed further or refined immediately.

In addition to the Smasher, Jacomij has a shredder to grind up and destroy, for example, hard disks (data servers).
